Saints Andrew Dũng-Lạc and Companions are 117 martyrs who died for the faith in Vietnam between 1745 and 1862. They include 96 Vietnamese Catholics (priests, catechists, soldiers, farmers, fishermen and mothers) along with 11 Spanish Dominican missionaries and 10 French missionary priests. Historians estimate that many thousands more Vietnamese Catholics were killed in the same persecutions.
